In a way, I joined this program in 2020 because I felt lost and confused. I kept trying to find a balance in my life with health and fitness and working full time, but I kept failing and I didn't know why. I would scroll through IG and health magazines and kept finding conflicting advice- keto? low carb diets? Intermittent fasting? IIFYM? no cardio? low-fat diets? high-fat diets? cardio every day?...the list goes on. I became increasingly frustrated as I tried so many diets and workout programs, only to lose a couple of pounds and find them come back immediately.

When I saw that Coach Anne was offering a group coaching and fitness program, I signed up, and it was probably the best decision I've made in 2020. Coach Anne and Coach JP are the most amazing fitness coaches out there! They have weekly group coaching sessions focused on topics such as mental health and wellness, macronutrients, self-love, managing stress, mental weight, and more! They also demo the exercises and answer any and all questions about the workouts, and you can send them videos to check your form while lifting. The members in the group coaching are so supportive and encouraging, and will cheer you on as you do the workouts and help lift you when you are feeling down or are going through tough times. The program consists of strength training, HIIT workouts, and mobility exercises, all which help to balance out your workout routine. I have found myself having more strength to lift things, more endurance to do hiking on weekends, and feel more flexible and less sore. The great part about this program is that it has really helped me mentally- having an amazing group of friends who encourage and cheer me on, teaching me to balance my work life with my personal life, and really getting me to think long-term. My initial goal was to be able to run one mile without stopping (which I've been able to accomplish thanks to this program!) but my current goal is to live healthy and pain-free as I get older, and to be a good role model for my future kids when it comes to health and fitness. This program was probably the best decision I've made in 2020, because it really changed my whole outlook on what it means to be healthy.
