Hi and welcome to my webpage!

My name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in beautiful Orange County California with my amazing fiancé JP and happy go lucky Dad Henry.

Most people know me through my Instagram platform @annephung where I share my life- the highs, the lows and everything in between. I came to America with my parents and brother in 1990 when I was one and a half years old, I would not be here sharing my life with you if it weren’t for my parents’ love, hard work and sacrifice.

Knowing I had an opportunity at a better future I strived to make them proud and had tunnel vision when it came to success. I had a set plan in life: go to college, graduate, land a corporate job, get married, buy a house and have kids. I thought that was the epitome of success, life had other plans to show me what success meant.

In 2013 I found myself dreading going to my corporate job, the money and status did not bring me joy- I felt like I was wasting my life away for a paycheck when I knew I was meant for more. I had a passion for working out and I enjoyed being social and helping others, as I navigated towards this new path in life I found my calling in personal training. In 2014 I started my small business and this year 2021 I will be celebrating my 7th anniversary. As an Asian female in this industry, there are very few of us. I strive to be a change maker in the industry to provide quality coaching to empower others to become a healthier and happier them by creating a sustainable lifestyle cater to their personal needs and goals. I also strive to empower others to go after their dreams and do anything and everything they want to in life.

As my career was taking off, I suffered the greatest loss of my life to date- the passing of my Mom. She won her eight year battle with Scleroderma and is resting in Heaven and with me in my mind and heart at all times. Life really does have a way with giving us exactly what we need even if we are unable to see the lesson at the moment. My Mom’s passing changed me in so many ways and I truly believe that my Mom gave me another chance at life through her passing. She passed away on Tet/Lunar New Year Day, it was her time to start her next life and for me to have my second chance at living a happy, fulfilled and meaningful life.

Now into my 30’s I feel alive and aware, I truly feel that I am living now and not merely existing like I was in my past. I share my life with you in hopes that you can resonate with my words and experiences, for you to know that you are not alone, for you to know that you are beyond capable of anything you set your mind to, that true love exists, that therapy is normal and needed, that health truly is your greatest form of wealth. I pray that you live your life to its fullest and to die with no regrets, as death is the only thing that is promised to us in our life.

Thank you for inviting me into your mind and heart.

With love and light,
Anne Phung
