Being a part of this program has shaped the way I think. Fitness to me before was all about getting “shredded” for the summer or trying to “bulk up” in the winter so I can lift heavier but coach Anne has changed my perspective. Once I started understanding a lifestyle change rather than just short term goals, I started seeing results. During this recent stronger together program has been amazing like the other past programs. It puts me back on track in a way where I never feel guilty of eating certain foods. I’ve really appreciated the mobility aspect of this program. I’ve been told I was “stiff” for years but incorporating the mobility stretches and exercises helped me understand what it means to take care of your body while working out rather than just lifting to lift heavy and potentially injuring myself. Also, I really feel that coach Anne and coach JP care about your mental health. They remind you to take the breaks you need while not making you feel guilty for taking those breaks. Coach Anne always gives a safe space for everyone to share anything they need to without any judgements. There are a strong group of women in the program. We support each other through time times and the great times. We celebrate the wins and the losses. The program and coaching are both great for beginners and also people who have been working out for a while. It’s been one of the highlights of last year and now this year.
